About Churchill Archaeology
Churchill Archaeology was founded by Kate Churchill (BA MA MCIfA) in October 2017, after thirteen years of working in the commercial heritage sector. Kate is an Archaeologist and Consultant who specialises in landscape archaeology, archaeological evaluations and heritage management, but has a specific interest and experience in Monmouthshire.
Kate is a highly skilled and conscientious archaeologist who is passionate and enthusiastic about the projects she undertakes. Her practical, grounded approach is enhanced by her ability to deliver archaeological information in an exciting and engaging manner.
As a Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, Kate ensures that all work undertaken by Churchill Archaeology is carried out to the highest standard and in strict accordance with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists’ Standards and Guidance, as well as following Cadw's and Historic England's Guidelines on technical and methodological aspects.
Churchill Archaeology is based in Monmouthshire but is involved in projects all over Wales and England. No job is too big or too small.
